About Us

The Civil Service Training College (CSTC) is located at State Avenue Tower Hill, Freetown it is dedicated to training of senior and junior staff of the civil service at both pre-entry and in-service levels, with the overall aim of enhancing their knowledge and skills as well as building their aptitudes to improve the productivity and service delivery. In particular, it will seek to strengthen in-service training programs as a mechanism for developing skills in an accelerated manner. The Civil Service Training College (CSTC) is currently being promoted under the patronage of the Council which is responsible for the overall policy guidance, providing strategic direction, promoting its development and fundraising objectives. It consists of; Chairman (Head of the Civil Service & Secretary to the Cabinet), Secretary (Principal), Assistant Secretary (Vice Principal). Members include; PSC Chairman, Educational Professional Head, Financial Secretary, Director General (HRMO), Tertiary Education Commission (Executive Secretary) and Registrar. The CSTC Management team is responsible for the provision and maintenance of coherent and comprehensive research, teaching and training in the contemporary world, Developing the mission of the College; Supporting, supervising and appraising key CSTC staff; Coordinating College planning and ensuring the availability of resources; Enhancing the College’s public image; Monitor the progress of the College.

Committed to the realization of its vision, the College stands for certain values. These values signify the College’s personality. They are shared values that will be nurtured and inculcated in the Trainees as there is need to be guided by the right values derived from the virtues that enhance building a morally upright people for a society that wants to pride in the integrity institutions and people. Overall Goal
