
Sylvester Amara Lamin is a Sierra Leonean professor, social worker, and humanitarian known for his contributions to social work education, community development, and public service. He earned a Ph.D. in Social Work from The Ohio State University and has taught internationally, including at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. He has also contributed to higher education and community outreach programs in Sierra Leone, focusing on professional social work development, mental health awareness, and humanitarian support for vulnerable communities.
